Lake Agco | Natural Spa Village in Kidapawan City

Located in the heart of Obo Monuvu culture, Lake Agco is a mystical destination that combines faith and beliefs with their traditions. This sacred lake is an important site for Pomaasan rituals, Somaya ceremonies honoring nature’s abundance, and other spiritual activities fenced off to protect its unparalleled sanctity. Through these practices at this miraculous lake, the Obo Manuvu people gain guidance from the physical world and secrets kept within by spirits alike – ultimately uniting all under one unified belief system.

Lake Agco nestles in the foothills of Mount Apo’s lofty slopes. It is a hot-springs oasis and home to Boi Batannan and Apo Sondawa. Regarded as sacred ancestral grounds by the Obo Monuvu tribe, they hunt here with their dogs for “Monunggud,” who governs over all beasts of the wild – gifting them providence from nature’s bounty. This mystic pool has long been treasured for the thermal springs that seep from Mt.Apo itself – bubbling up secrets since time immemorial!

MADADMA’s fantastic history has made it the proud owner of Lake Agco, a lake filled with natural wonders stemming from its memorable ancestor Apo Apao. Legends tell us that he was the first to reach Mount Apo, and his presence bestowed upon this mountain an abundance of Yellowstone which is now known as “sondawa.” This momentous heritage gives MADADMA great honor and distinction – reminding all who know about them why their story will remain in memory for eternity!

Lake Agco is located in 268F+X6 to EDC, Kidapawan-Ilomavis Tourist Rd, Kidapawan City, Cotabato.
